Host David Allen

David was first introduced to fly fishing by his mother on the farm ponds of Pulaski county Kentucky. Ever since, he has taken every opportunity to explore our natural environment via fly fishing and has made it a cornerstone of his lifestyle. More importantly, it is a way to celebrate the places he loves with the people he loves.

David made Telluride, CO his home in 2003, and came in pursuit of trout. He quickly became one of the top guides in the region, and has gained an intimate knowledge of the trout and pike fisheries of southwest CO. This is largely due to his unwavering passion for fly fishing.

David has expanded his place in the fly fishing industry by representing top fly fishing brands such as Patagonia, Oakley, Scott Fly Rods, amongst others. Moreover, he started filming Life is Reel with Godu Productions 2010. For David, everything is about the lifestyle and sharing those moments with the people closest to him.
