Life is Reel is a 6 episode series chronicling the fishing adventures of Guide and Fly Fisherman David Allen and his friends as they travel the US in search of adventure.

Most fishing shows teach you how to fish, this show teaches you how to live.  Dave and his buddies are coming of age in a world where guiding fuels their passion and fishing takes them everywhere.  Follow them as they find innovative ways to experience the river while living on a guide’s wages and travelling in a 17 year old Land Rover.

In season 1, David and his crew of friends fish cavernous canyons, high desert and alpine lakes of Colorado, and also find time to sneak onto a fashion shoot as an extra scoring a five star float trip on Wyoming’s Snake River only to eat mac and cheese two days later on the Boise river in Idaho.

Uniting with friends and sharing the joy of being young and driven to see the world and it’s rivers, Dave and his friends passion entertains, informs and inspires the seasoned fisherman and the newbie alike.

Produced in Documentary style by Godu productions, the episodes promise to entertain a broad audience. See them this summer on the World Fishing Network in 10 million HH on Dish Network.
